# Roadmap

ByteNova’s development journey spans several years of deep technical research, infrastructure building, and ecosystem expansion. Our roadmap reflects a progression from foundational R\&D to mass user adoption, decentralized marketplace growth, and global AI ecosystem activation.

**Phase 0 — Foundational R\&D: Edge AI, LLM Training & Speech Models (2023–2024)**

Before any public-facing product was released, ByteNova spent two years building the technological foundation that now powers N.O.V.A.

During this period, the team developed the core Edge AI Computing Framework, enabling on-device LLM inference with high efficiency and strict privacy guarantees. In parallel, ByteNova trained early versions of its proprietary companion-focused Large Language Models, optimized specifically for emotional intelligence, memory formation, and long-term adaptation.

Alongside LLM development, the team built advanced TTS (Text-to-Speech) and ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) systems, enabling real-time, multi-emotional voice generation and natural voice interaction. These technologies eventually became the backbone of N.O.V.A’s immersive experience.

This phase concluded with internal demos validating that a fully edge-native personal AI companion—capable of real-time reasoning, memory, and voice interaction—was technically feasible.

**Phase 1 — Community Foundations & Ecosystem Preparation (Q1–Q3 2025)**

The first phase focuses on building the global community and establishing the early foundation required for N.O.V.A’s launch.\
During Q1 and Q2, ByteNova expands its marketing engine, grows its Twitter and Discord ecosystems, and executes partnership-driven onboarding campaigns through platforms like Galxe—shaping one of the fastest-growing AI + Web3 communities.

By Q3, the focus shifts toward large-scale education and narrative building around N.O.V.A. This includes multi-region campaigns, creator collaborations, and community quests designed to prepare users for the new companion-AI paradigm. By the end of this phase, ByteNova is positioned with a deeply engaged user base ready to enter the N.O.V.A era.

**Phase 2 — N.O.V.A Debut: Internal Test, Public Alpha, SBT & Mining (Q4 2025)**

The second phase marks the moment the community transitions from anticipation to hands-on experience. In October 2025, N.O.V.A’s internal test is released to a controlled cohort of early adopters, allowing the team to validate the core interaction systems—on-device inference, behavioral learning, emotional responsiveness, and identity persistence.

In November 2025, N.O.V.A’s public Alpha becomes available globally, beginning with the Windows version. For the first time, users can mint their Soulbound Token (SBT), which anchors their unique AI companion identity. Daily quests, the mining system, early customization options, and personality progression all come online during this phase, allowing users to begin building and growing their own N.O.V.A.

Following the Alpha release, ByteNova introduces the Premium layer of N.O.V.A, offering advanced skins, custom voice models, higher mining efficiency, and priority access to top-tier LLM engines. This marks the beginning of a sustainable subscription-driven business model and sets the stage for large-scale user participation leading into the Token Generation Event (TGE).

**Phase 3 — Cross-Platform Expansion & Token Generation (Q1–Q2 2026)**

After the successful public Alpha, ByteNova enters a critical phase of platform expansion and ecosystem strengthening. Throughout early 2026, N.O.V.A extends beyond Windows, with the macOS version launching upon App Store approval, followed by iOS and Android releases that bring the companion-AI experience to mobile devices worldwide.

This period also introduces the first version of the N.O.V.A Creation Platform, enabling users to craft deeper behavioral attributes, emotional patterns, and appearance layers for their AI companions. At the same time, the early-access Plugin SDK is rolled out to developers, marking the beginning of the ByteNova builder ecosystem and enabling creators to experiment with new tools, automations, and extensions.

**Phase 4 — Full Marketplace Activation & Advanced Edge-AI Ecosystem (2026+)**

With cross-platform deployment underway and the token economy active, 2026 becomes the year ByteNova fully evolves into a decentralized AI ecosystem. The N.O.V.A Marketplace goes live, allowing developers to upload, monetize, and scale plugins, MCP tools, and advanced agent extensions. This shifts N.O.V.A from a single application into a modular operating system for personal AI.

The mining system becomes more intelligent and adaptive, incorporating SBT traits, engagement history, and on-device behavioral signals to reward meaningful participation. ByteNova’s Edge AI framework begins expanding into partner devices and enterprise environments, enabling low-latency, privacy-preserving intelligence across industries such as DeFi automation, RWA analytics, productivity optimization, IoT, and gaming.

As the ecosystem matures, ByteNova begins exploring immersive multi-modal environments—integrating VR/AR/MR interfaces powered by NVIDIA technologies.
